Remember that true happiness in a relationship is in intimacy. The moment that we stop pursuing each other is the moment that intimacy starts dying and we are not happy. So let’s adjust our pursuit to focus on each other and we’ll see that the results change.

Jesus will never stop pursuing us. We need to love like that. We need to remember that with any relationship – spouse or with God – the focus is not on us.

If we want to see our relationships transformed, our answer is in intimacy with Jesus.

Never stop pursuing Jesus. Never stop pursuing your spouse. Take your life, pursue after Christ, and He’ll change your heart to love your spouse the way that He intended where true joy and intimacy are found.
